Here are a few of my favorite places on the web. Some of them are art related, some link to other areas of knowledge that interest me, some are just for fun.
Check back often for new links.
American women artists - a new exhibit at the U.S. Mission to NATO in Brussels, Belgium.
Just one of many good sites with images of O'Keeffe's paintings. If you visit Santa Fe, remember to stop by the museum.
One of many links to the legendary painter. Get to know her if you want to know where and how the feminist art movement in the U.S. started. The issue here is really not so much whether one supports feminist art. The issue was - and is: Can we really talk about art and continue to exclude art produced by women?
What a cool site! Brief bios and very good, large images. Seems not not have had updates in a while. But the basic archive is great.
Read the statement of intent on the first page - it provides a quick overview of the many different "actions" and purposes of this group of women.
An online portal for access to the arts and culture around the world. Like a news magazine for the arts - it's great and chuckfull of information.
This is the "contemporary" page of the online artcyclopedia. There are many other links within that page - a great resource to art in general.
One of my favorite artists. A contemporary of O'Keeffe as well as Frida Kahlo.
Another of my most cherished artists.
A delight; a great educational experience; fun; a feast for eyes and mind.
One of my favorite places close to home. This museum has class - and good coffee or tea at their elevated plaza level.
A "must see" modern art gallery.
New York - New York!!!! That's one of the two or three things I REAAALLLLY love about the internet: It's 5 a.m. - and I can sit in my studio with a cup of tea, listen to the birds wake up and at the same time go visit the MOMA!!! If that's not crazily wonderful, I don't know what is!!

A gem - and has a great website, too.
If you've "met" Sister Wendy on PBS you know that she is a true art lover, art expert, and gifted teacher of viewing art. If you've never heard of her but love art and like to figure out new ways to look at art, check out this link.
This gallery is my artistic home base. Here is where I show my new art first. We are an art coop of seven artists. All of us have studios in Idyllwild, an active art community at almost 6000', about a two hour drive from San Diego or Los Angeles. We are all internationally exhibited artists. Come visit us.
A world in itself. Enter it at any time, day or night, and prepare to be surprised, excited, stimulated.
Tony is a fellow artist. I admire his dedication to his art, to the process of creating. Go visit Tony's gallery.
A very cool Canadian site - a virtual museum devoted to women artists through the ages; with links to holdings in museums.
