I wanted to create a series of paintings that show a few of the things that are important to me, principles to live by every day: Be open, play, love, share, give thanks, and forgive.
For several months, I experimented with soldering Braille dots onto copper plates. It was a matter of finding out just what the right temperature was for the copper to accept the solder drops. The torch flame created beautiful color patterns on the copper plates.
Here is the complete series "Things To Live By."
